Kendall Jenner’s Love of Flip-Flop Heels Continues

This week, Kendall Jenner put an end to her string of swaddling knitwear in order to capitalise on the partywear craze for magpie shine. While The Row’s mohair shirts and alpaca coats might be appropriate for Calabasas, Sunset Boulevard called for a far more opulent option as she entered private club Poppy for a tequila-fueled night thanks to 818.

Jenner’s active entrepreneur mode looked something like this: sparkling dress + pointed-toe shoes. Kendall Jenner’s flip-flop heels gave her appearance the cool-girl twist she is establishing for herself thanks to a healthy subscribing to Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s school of fashion. Her diamanté-encrusted ensemble exceeded anything the industry experienced at the Fashion Awards on Monday night.

Kendall is keeping in her own lane and relying on calmer fashion to support her journey as a stealth style influencer while the rest of the industry may be tearing up the dancefloor in D’Accori’s jewel-toned and crystal-stoned heels or performing cocktail hour in Loewe’s bow-bedecked sandals. In contrast to the translucent gowns that are popular this season, even the sequin-covered party clothing appeared decidedly classic.
This classic-with-a-twist style satisfied the brief perfectly for a self-described “grandma,” who probably would have wanted to take a private jet back to the comfort of her couch (as per season two of The Kardashians), before Jenner’s regular cozy-luxe The Row uniform resumes. In our opinion, this is preferable to being a trend cycle slave.
