This year, the 26-year-old model bid goodbye to her brunette locks and welcome to some honey blonde ones, which she revealed in an Instagram Story that threw her followers into a complete frenzy. Kim Kardashian isn’t the first A-lister to do this.
Bella wrote in the description of her Instagram Story, “Feeling a little better and a little blonder.” Bella credited colorist Jenna Perry and hairstylist Jessica Gillin for the gorgeous cut, style, and colour, and we adore how Perry described her look in depth to maybe inspire anybody else desiring to go for the similar look!
How Did Bella Get Her New Hair?
Perry claimed that Bella’s colour was accomplished by first lightening her black shade to the lightest shade she could produce, then tone it to the desired, honey hue. In an interview with Vogue, Perry said, “We have been thinking up a lighter colour for a while, but this was a ‘Let’s see how far we can go’ moment. This colour “feels virgin and natural,” the stylist continued, adding that we’re dubbing it “Baby Bella” or “Aspen Blonde.” We’re happy to note that Bella’s hair’s condition hasn’t suffered because it certainly looks shiny and healthy—two things we frequently have to give up when choosing lighter tones.
Gillin offered her two cents, telling the fashion bible that she gave Bella the ideal length using custom-colored hair extensions that were hidden by cleaned-up bangs and lengthy layers. Mission accomplished, in our opinion!

On December 21, Bella posted some photos of herself, including the image her hair stylists posted to their Instagram Stories, to her Instagram grid in honour of Gigi, 27, opening her Guest in Residence store in Aspen, Colorado. “My sister @gigihadid has opened a new @guestinresidence store in Aspen, and I couldn’t be more proud of her. 413 E. Hyman, NOW! Bella gave her carousel a caption. She puts in a lot of effort, and the result speaks for itself! It’s so Gigi!” she exclaimed as countless followers praised her new hair in comments and with emoticons.
